Classy Halloween Costumes

 Classy Halloween Costumes

If you are a mid 20's woman like me you may be regretting some of your past Halloween wardrobe choices.

Let's take a look at the Top Ten Classy Halloween Costumes inspired by some really classy women.

1. Mary Poppins
This my favorite costume idea so far and fairly easy to recreate. I especially like the way Lauren Conrad does it. Using a simple white button up, a black flared skirt, and a few props you too will be looking SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCOUS!

2. Dottie from A League of Their Own
The character Dottie from a league of their own is a woman to admire. This look would kill it at any Halloween party or trick or treating with the kids. Who doesn't love America's favorite past time?

3. Medusa
This look is not only fierce but also very simple to pull off. You can recreate this hairdo with dollar store toy snakes and bobby pins. Pair the do with a white dress and some gold jewelry and vuala!

    4. Minnie Mouse
You can't get much classier than the classic Minnie Mouse. A black top, red polka dot skirt, and some Minnie ears and you are ready to find your Mickey.

5. Wonder Woman
I like this look because you can portray on of the most kick ass supper woman without having to wear the scantily costume. Play is like a classy 50's style Wonder Woman you won't regret it.

6. Belle from Beauty and the Beast
Who doesn't love a well educated beauty? A blue dress with a white apron and some books for props will steal the show.

7. Snow White
Take a new twist on the classic Snow White by adding some 50's flair.

8. Marilyn Monroe
An oldie but a goody is the Marilyn Monroe look. Get your bombshell blonde on even if its just on night. Don't get too into your character though standing over steaming manholes is highly dangerous!

9. Elizabeth Taylor as Cleopatra
Both Cleopatra and Elizabeth Taylor are beautiful women to look up to, why not do both? A long silky black dress, crafty gold headdress, and flawless makeup will transform you into an Egyptian goddess.

10. Nancy Drew
The woman many girls have been looking up to, Nancy Drew. Her yellow mystery book stole your heart now this look with too. Pair it with a magnify glass, its no mystery why this costume is a hit.

11. Audrey Hepburn
This woman has won our hearts time and time again with her whitty humor and girlish charm. Style the Breakfast at Tiffany's look with an elegant long black dress or a perky short one. Its the perfect excuse to act like a diva.
